Brad has been on stage since September 1984. Before that, he taught fourth grade and coached track at a high school. He moved up quickly in the world of stand-up comedy, making appearances on different TV shows and headlining at comedy clubs all over the country.
By the end of 2018, he has done more than 6000 shows. A 34-year career has way too many important moments to list them all. He won the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, and as part of the HBO Comedy Festival, he did a show at Caesars Palace.
In high school, Brad was a good track and field athlete. He was especially good at the hurdles. He ran track and field for Spokane Community College, where he was on one of the best Jr. College teams ever. Brad then went to the University of Montana for a year before returning home.
He kept training and running in the 110-meter high hurdles until he was 34, when he set a world record in the event. At age 30, he ran his best time, which was 14.40. He will spend his last year of college at Eastern Washington University.
As his fame grew and his work became more well-known, Brad started working on cruise ships on occasion in 1999. In 2002, he went on to perform at the HBO Comedy Festival at Caesars Palace after winning the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. He went on a short tour with the late great Joan Rivers and had been opening for the legendary Johnny Mathis for the past 15 years.
In 2017, he made a special for Dry Bar Comedy, a brand-new comedy platform. Soon, things changed in ways he hadn't thought of. In June 2018, Dry Bar released a clip of Brad talking about millennials. It went viral in a way that almost no other comedy video has ever done. It was seen by 12 million people in 48 hours and then 33 million in 10 days. It made his CD the most popular on iTunes and made him a trending topic on Twitter. The world suddenly found out about this "new" comedian. He has had two very popular specials on Dry Bar, and more than 200 million people have watched them. The Grand Ole Opry heard about him because of how popular he was on the internet. In September 2019, he had the honor of stepping into the circle and making his debut. Since then, he has become a regular guest.
