Anthony Jamal Bean, or Chico Bean, is a very popular American writer, rapper, actor, and comedian. He is also a successful producer and was a part of several comedy shows on MTV, VH1, and MTV2. He got the name Chico from his uncle.

Chico Bean has been a part of several hit comedy shows like "Wild 'N Out." He also created the popular "The Freestyle Funny Comedy Show" along with Darren Brand. He was also a part of the podcast "85 South Show" alongside cast members Karlous Miller, Clayton English, and DC Young.

Rise as a Comedy Star and Other Achievements

Chico Bean started his career in comedy in North Carolina. He was the opener for Chris Wiles for quite some time and later went on to create his show, "The Freestyle Funny Comedy Show." He also started performing in stand-up comedy shows at live events, universities, and clubs.

Bean went on to participate in Nick Cannon's "Fresh Faces of Comedy" and later successfully auditioned for "Wild 'N Out." He has been a part of the show since and is known for "Sucka MC Battles." He also made a guest appearance on the game show "Trivial Takedown."

Chico Bean also hosted the BET Hip-Hop Awards in 2020 and 2021, along with Karlous Miller and DC Young Fly.

Bean became an internet sensation when he dissed rapper and songwriter Safaree on the “Sucka MC Battle." The T-Pain episode got over 20 million views on the internet when the "Wildstyle” section between himself and Karlous Miller slowly started heating up.

Bean also went on to host a special “Wild ‘N Out” awards show with fellow cast member Justina Valentine. He also performed a song titled Mouth and Lip Service, featured on the Wild 'N Out: Wildstyle Volume 1”.
