Chris Tucker
Chris Tucker is a famous American actor and comedian. He has starred in movies like Money Talks, Jackie Brown, Friday, and the Fifth Element. He became very well known after starring as Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour movie series and received many awards.
Tucker began performing as a stand-up comedian for “Def Comedy Jam," a comedy series on HBO. He had started his career by performing in local comedy clubs in Atlanta but later decided to move to Los Angeles, where he first got his big break with HBO.

Tucker started getting fame after he appeared in the movie House Party 3. He started working with some of the top names in the industry, including Quentin Tarantino and Jackie Chan.
Tucker gained instant fame when he starred in the Rush Hour series alongside Jackie Chan. As an LAPD detective, he had to learn martial arts for the action-comedy film, and his comic timing and camaraderie with Chan were very well-received. With the success of Rush Hour, Tucker entered the top leagues of Hollywood and was paid $20 million and $25 million for Rush Hour 2 and Rush Hour 3, respectively.
Chris Tucker also collaborated with other top names in the industry, like Michael Jackson, and appeared in his video "You Rock my World.” He also appeared in Tupac Shakur’s "California Love." He was seen in the NBA All-Star Weekend Celebrity game alongside Dominique Wilkins, Terrell Owens, and Clyde Drexler.
Tucker has been very mindful of the kind of work he has done in his career and hence refused to appear in films like Next Friday and Friday After Next because he explained he did not want to promote weed ingestion.
Tucker was also slated to star in a film based on Frank Sinatra's life, which was set in the Rat Pack era in the 1950s and 60s. He also received positive reviews and accolades for his performance in the film Silver Linings Playbook. He also hosted the 2013 BET Awards.
