Ball Arena (formerly Pepsi Center)
Formerly called the Pepsi Center, the Ball Arena hosts over 225 events each year and is a do-all venue for concerts, professional sports, family shows, and other special events in Denver, Colorado. The Mile-High City may be known for its outdoor adventures, but places like the Pepsi Center show the breadth of the city’s entertainment options. Holding just under 20,000 people, it is a go-to venue for a variety of events in the area.
Home of the Colorado Avalanche (NHL), the Denver Nuggets (NBA), and the Colorado Mammoth (NLL), the Pepsi Center’s stadium is a premiere sports facility, specializing in lacrosse, hockey, and basketball on a competitive level. It also welcomes more extreme sports in events such as Monster Jam Triple Threat Series and CHSAA Wrestling. The Center also hosts a multitude of show-based events, including the Harlem Globetrotters, Sturgill Simpsons: A Good Look’n Comedy Tour, Gabriel Iglesias Beyond the Fluffy World Tour, and Cirque Du Soleil Volta. Concerts are another popular staple at the Pepsi Center. Recent and upcoming performances include Post Malone, Celine Dion, Eagles, Billie Eilish, Maroon 5, Tame Impala, Harry Styles, Camila Cabello, The Doobie Brothers, and Alan Jackson.
The venue is not style over substance. In addition to the variety of events, the Center has quality features to ensure that the audience enjoys their experience. Suites, Club Level, Club Lexus, and Theatre Boxes offer upgraded seating and viewing options. Each upgrade comes with its own set of bells and whistles, from comfier seating to private full-service bars to VIP parking and more. Every guest, regardless of ticket type, has access to food and drink choices, including standard concessions, the Breckenridge Brewery Mountain House, the Land Rover Denver Club, and the Colorado Social. When it comes to the actual event, a superior sound system, a 70,000-pound Daktronics scoreboard, Wi-Fi access, and a new projection system in 4K resolution make it something special. Although opened in 1999 costing $180 million, continued investments in the Pepsi Center have made it a space people want to return to year after year.
The Pepsi Center is located at 1000 Chopper Circle, Denver Colorado, 80204.
