Laughter and Giggles
The razor-sharp comedy on relatable and relevant topics is what makes Dan Cummins beloved worldwide. In 2016, he launched his solo podcast named Timesuck, which focuses on one topic every week, such as conspiracies, historical events, and so on.
He then brought Timesuck onto the platform of Pandora, leading it to get 10,000 downloads on a weekly basis before transforming it into an app in late 2017. By December 2018, the collaboration of Patreon and Timesuck had garnered more than $22,000.
2018 also multiplied the popularity of Dan Cummins as a stand-up comedian, bringing about more and more performances across America. Dan and Lynze started another creative venture in 2019 when they created Scared to Death, a horror podcast that they hosted together.
The concept of this podcast was for Dan to read campfire stories to try and scare Lynze. The podcast was an immediate hit among their audiences. By the end of the year, Scared to Death had about 100,000 downloads every week.
The beginning of 2020 saw a further bloom with regard to Dan's stand-up career. The pandemic did bring about some hurdles, but that didn't dim Dan and Lynze's spirit.
Instead, they used this time to create another podcast, Is We Dumb?, which Dan co-hosts with Joe Paisley, who is his audio engineer. Combining comedy and the ignorance of human beings, this podcast mocks the dumb things we all indulge in.
Is We Dumb? is now a sponsored entity that sees close to 300,000 downloads every month.
Dan is now all set to begin his fresh stand-up tour titled Symphony of Madness that promises even more laughs and hilarity that his fans have come to associate with him over the years.
