Fortune Feimster is a stand-up comedian, actress, and writer. She is one of those performers who has made such a substantial name for herself in the world of comedy that her presence is enough to elevate the standard of performances all around.

Using her charm and likable personality, Feimster puts her confessional form of comedy to use to bring individuals of various kinds together. Through storytelling, she proves that even people from different backgrounds can find common ground somehow.

Career and Accomplishments

Feimster's hour-long stand-up comedy special titled Fortune Feimster: Good Fortune was released on Netflix in October of 2022. It was through the show Chelsea Lately that her career started.

After being a panelist and writer for that show, she went on to become a regular presence on The Mindy Project and was also seen in Kenan and Champions.

She has made numerous guest appearances on shows such as 2 Broke Girls, Claws, Glee, Nora from Queens, Workaholics, The L Word: Generation Q, and Tales of the City.

Her recurring role in Life In Pieces, too, led to her receiving immense love from fans and audiences worldwide. Feimster has also been a part of multiple movies, including Yes Day, Office Christmas Party, Father of the Year, and Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.

She is also a voice actor, examples of which include Evelyn from The Simpsons, Counselor Jerry in Soul, Brenda on Bless the Harts, Olive from Velma, and Ava from Summer Camp Island.

Feimster’s first Netflix special titled Sweet and Salty got nominated for a Critics Choice Award and showed a new side of the comedian.

In Good Fortune, she employed her brand of storytelling to explore themes such as sexuality, relationships, love, her Southern personality, and the views of an individual who grew up in the 80s.

Feimster is known to tour extensively with her comedy shows. In addition, she has made an appearance on talk shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

She was a part of The Stand-ups on Netflix in its first season, and her Comedy Central specials earned her several glorious reviews. Feimster was one of the creative minds behind ABC's Family Fortune, in which the comedian also starred.
