Justin Willman
Justin Willman is an American magician, comedian, TV host, and producer born on July 11, 1980. He lives with his wife, Jillian Sipkins, and son Jackson Willman in Los Angeles.
He made the Netflix show Magic for Humans and stars in it. The second season of the show was released on December 4, 2019, and the third on May 15, 2020. He frequently appears on late-night talk shows of Jimmy Fallon's, Ellen, and Conan. Sleight of Mouth, his first comedy/magic special, was shown for the first time on Comedy Central in 2015.
Early Life
Justin Willman was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and started making people laugh when he broke his arms at age 12. His orthopedic doctor told him to learn card tricks instead of going to physical therapy and to get his hands moving again. Soon, he performed for friends and family and then for birthday parties. His mother gave him the stage name "Justin Kredible" to use. Since then, he has dropped the stage name and only works under his real name, Justin Willman.
Willman finished high school at Ladue Horton Watkins in St. Louis. He then went to Emerson College in Boston and earned his Broadcast Journalism degree.
Career
Willman has shown off his magic on the YouTube show "Magic Meltdown," which was picked up by the Nerdist Channel and turned into a web series. In Magic Meltdown, Justin did tricks that had something to do with a certain theme, such as technology, kids, or food. The act incorporated several of the feats he performed on his magic tours.
He sang for the first family at the White House Halloween party in 2011. James Galea asked Willman, Justin Flom, and Nate Staniforth to form Band of Magicians with him in 2014.
Willman started hosting the teen version of the classic Burt Reynolds and Bert Convy game show Win, Lose or Draw on the Disney Channel in 2014. In July, Comedy Central bought a pilot for Sleight of Mouth, a weekly variety show about the magic that Willman would host. The show wasn't picked up, but the pilot was shown as a special on Comedy Central in April 2015.
Willman has been a guest star on the CBS show Defenders. He also played Armando in a cameo on the Disney show The Suite Life on Deck.
