Mariana Mazza

Mariana Mazza is a comedian from Quebec, Canada, and of Lebanese and Uruguayan descent. Her family has been residing in Canada for a long time, and she conducts her shows mostly in French and English. She has also acted in films like Bon Cop, Bad Cop 2, and De père en flic 2. Comedy has always been her first love, and she is known for her impeccable timing.

Mazza started by performing locally, like most other comedians. She first appeared on stage for the Couscous Comedy Show. Later she participated in the “En route vers mon premier gala Juste pour rire” and emerged as a finalist. She also took part in the event Avenir Lac Mégantic, and everyone loved her performance.

Achievements as a Comedian and Actor

Mazza only went from strength to strength and soon gained fame as one of the most promising comedians in Canada. She was named the "Revelation of the Just for Laughs Festival" when she participated in the Opposite Sex gala. She appeared in Femme ta Gueule and was awarded the Olivier award for comedian of the year.

As Mazza started gaining more fame, she also got more offers from television. She was asked to be a collaborator on the show, So we Jase and was also a part of Cliptoman, aired on Musique Plus. She was also the host of the show In chalet on the Unis channel for quite some time.

At this point, Mazza’s acting career also took off, and she played a major role in MED, which aired on VRAK. She was also a part of Code F, which aired daily, and she also appeared on Tout le monde en parle and presented her first one-woman show.
