New York Kings of Comedy
The New York Kings of Comedy consist of Talent Harris, Capone, Rob Stapleton, Drew Fraser, and Mark Viera.
Talent Harris is one of those comedians and actors who commands the attention of his audience from the very first minute and doesn’t let them go till they are laughing hysterically. He had his own radio show on New York’s WBLS.
Harris has been a part of movies such as Brotherly Love and Sunset Park.
Career and Accomplishments
Drew Fraser's humor on the stage as a comedian is full of energy, unique, and immensely amusing. It's through the Boston comedy club known as Nick's Comedy Stop that Fraser started his journey in the world of comedy.
Soon enough, he shifted to New York City, where his career started booming further. Fraser began to host Amateur Night at the very popular Apollo Theater.
The Queen Latifah Show, which was a chat show that lasted for two seasons from 1999 to 2001, had Fraser doing warm-ups for it for a while. He has also co-hosted The Bad Boys of Comedy.
While each of the comedians performing singularly is a riot in itself, all of them performing together is sheer epic-ness indeed. One such performer from the group who will get you panting with laughter and waiting to catch your breath again is Mark Viera.
Some of his comedy includes stories about his family members and his upbringing as a Latino person. He made his debut on television through 30 Rock, an Emmy award-winning NBC show.
Rob Stapleton’s charged-up style of comedy and sharp wit is something that audiences are sure to remember forever, which is why he’s a beloved figure in comedy all across the United States of America.
Stapleton grew up in the Bronx, New York, and everything he observed during his youth is what he includes in his comedy. He is also a writer, filmmaker, and producer, and one might remember him from his movie, The Stuff.
Next is Capone, who is known as The Gangster of Comedy. When his career was still in its initial stage, many advised him to stay away from the 'gangster' tag as it could be off-putting to some, but he believed that if he had faith in his brand, then things would fall into place.
He says that his objective in life is to sell himself and not to sell himself short.
