Orlando Leyba

Orlando Leyba is a stand-up comedian who gained plenty of fame and love from his fans and audience through the discussion of his personal experiences and unique perspective on life.

Born on 25^th March 1977 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was raised single-handedly by his Dominican mother. He was one of five sons, and his brothers were named Ed, Gaby, Juan, and Al. Leyba completed his graduation from Miami Dade College.

Career and Achievements

Leyba possesses a rare talent for finding a humorous element in just about everything he comes across. He uses animated gestures to pull his viewers in and keeps them engaged through his witty storytelling and the high likeability factor that makes everyone want to keep listening to him.

After making a substantial mark in comedy, he found the roads to success opening up for him gradually. He eventually appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he was pretty appreciated.

His fans have seen him on TruTV Mobb's Laff Tracks and EntreNos on HBO Latino. Adorable is the title of his HBO comedy special, which came out on 16^th November 2018. He had once been featured as a TBS' Comic to Watch at the New York Comedy Festival. Leyba also came up as a finalist at NBC's Stand-Up Diversity Showcase. He gave the voice to the character of Wabo in Luis and the Aliens, which is an animated movie for kids.

Leyba is quite a common presence at comedy clubs and comedy festivals across Canada and the United States of America. He was a finalist at the Big Sky Comedy Festival and the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival.

The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival has featured comedians who have made appearances on Comedy Central, Jimmy Fallon, and more. Over 1000 comedians usually submit their names for the festival, of which a handful are picked to perform at the festival.

In fact, the comedians who have previously performed at this festival have gone on to be a part of movies, TV shows, and podcasts and have also won Emmys. Leyba was seen on TBS’ Wreck League, and he was also a contestant on Bring the Funny, a show on NBC.
