Pat McGann
Pat McGann is a stand-up comedian who has become popular in comedy circles.
Having worked as a packaging salesman for quite a long time, he realized that he was neither good at it nor did he want to do it. Instead, comedy was what interested him, and so that’s what he decided to pursue at the age of 31.
His comedy performances have graced theaters and comedy clubs.
Career and Achievements
McGann soon saw himself becoming the house emcee at Zanies Chicago. His natural talent for interacting with the audience was quite evident. Being a husband and a father to three kids, it's not surprising that his comments on family life are hilarious and relatable.
It is a bonus factor that his distinguished wit easily makes him a crowd favorite.
McGann's performance became the opening act for Sebastian Maniscalco's shows in 2017. It resulted in him moving around, performing at various arenas, clubs, and theaters, and presenting himself in front of a packed auditorium at venues such as Madison Square Garden.
He has performed on shows such as The Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
His presence has also honored festivals such as the Just For Laughs Festival, Gilda’s LaughFest, The Great American Comedy Festival, and the Nashville Comedy Fest.
McGann created the show, The Chicago Stand Up Project, which he also hosted. The show was nominated for an Emmy as well. He has appeared on The Bob & Tom Show, a radio show hosted by Tom Griswold along with Kristi Lee, Chick McGee, and Josh Arnold.
McGann has also been seen on Gotham Comedy Live on AXS-TV, where famous comedians gather together to perform at the Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan.
The name of his debut comedy album is Sounds Good, which his fans can catch on Sirius/XM radio. He hosts a podcast, The Cycle, produced and distributed by the Chicago White Sox and Major League Baseball.
