Aiming for a More Inclusive World

TheaterWorksUSA has one solid aim, which is to make this world a more inclusive place through their art, which is evident in everything they create and produce. They are well aware of the privilege and responsibilities they carry as creators who create performances for families and young minds across the United States of America. TheaterWorksUSA wishes to do better so that the younger generation of the country grows up to become more inclusive and empathetic individuals.

TheaterWorksUSA has immense respect for the Black community, and it understands the struggles they have faced for centuries. They intend to help them in their fight and will always be in solidarity with the Black creators, artists, staff members, parents, kids, audiences, and educators.

The commitment of TheaterWorksUSA is to denounce all forms of racism and make use of their voices – both individually and collectively – to create a more equal and kind society. They follow certain principles, policies, and practices regarding inclusion and diversity, and they understand that they have to strictly implement them in their own circle first before venturing outside.

This includes not only supporting the people of color and telling their stories but also working with them because only someone belonging to a particular community can tell their story with honesty and sincerity.

TheaterWorksUSA believes more in actions than just in words, and they want their work to be reflective of their views and principles. They also know that slip ups might happen from their end, but they want to be held accountable for those so they can keep learning and growing and doing better.

Providing Resources

TheaterWorksUSA knows that there is still a lot to learn and explore. They believe that in order to help and support the Black community better, we all need to educate ourselves more, which is why they also provide resources of organizations that can aid us with this.
