Heritage Bank Center: Events Schedule, Tickets and more...
A midwestern, rustbelt city in southern Ohio, right by the Indiana and Kentucky borders, Cincinnati is a proud sports city. The home of the nation’s first professional baseball team and a premier motorsports hotbed, there is a long history of sports entertainment. Today, Heritage Bank Center is the top destination in Cincinnati for indoor sports and other large-scale events. To learn more about its history, amenities, and events, keep reading...
Formerly known as the Riverfront Coliseum (1975-1997), The Crown (1997-1999), Firstar Center (1999-2002), and U.S. Bank Arena (2002-2019), this arena is a longtime legend in downtown Cincinnati, evolving with the times. Fans come back year-after-year to see their favorites teams, such as the arena’s main tenant: The Cincinnati Cyclones hockey team. At some point in time, the arena has been home to pretty much every indoor arena sports team in the area, including the Stingers, Bearcats, Tigers, Rockers, Silverbacks, Stuff, Swarm, Marshals, and Jungle Cats. These days, the Cyclones have taken over, but there are regular comedy, music, and family show events throughout the year.
When it comes to amenities, Heritage Bank Center has all of the arena classics. Concessions include all of the nostalgic arena staples, including candies, nachos, chicken tenders, beers, cocktails, sodas, coffee, doughnuts, brats, hotdogs, sandwiches, cotton candy, pretzels, peanuts, pizza, popcorn, sno-cones, tacos, and more. There are also some healthier additions, such as hummus and wraps. They have also added a bar and restaurant that overlooks the event level of the venue, offering that birds eye view for guests. ATMS, restrooms, sensory kits, parking, and other basic features are available to guests, too.
Heritage Bank Center is working hard to keep old traditions alive and well, despite the upgrades and shifts in owners over the years. One unique feature is that those celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and first games can receive a free Cincinnati Cyclones Certificate to remember the occasion. Also, guests over 21 who agree not to drink alcohol and be the designated driver are given a coupon for a free soda. These programs promote a safer, healthier community.
Heritage Bank Center is located at 100 Broadway Street in Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. It is North of the Ohio River, off of the city’s Central Business District. Other nearby entertainment favorites include the Great American Ball Park, Taft Theatre, and Taft Museum of Art. It is also conveniently near the Duke Energy Convention Center, so it is a convenient spot for people traveling into town for a convention who want to see the best of what Cincinnati has to offer.
