Greg Warren
Greg Warren has had a phenomenal rise since he entered the comedy world. He had a great decade and counting and has performed in almost all the notable venues across the country.
The Punchline Magazine hailed him as the comic who has been "on the rise for the last decade." Warren has also appeared on "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and BET's other popular shows like "Coming to the Stage" by BET.
Warren hails from the Midwest, and his sets are mostly inspired by the events he encountered during his early years in the region. He has been dubbed the "comic's comic" by Kim Coles.
Ever since Warren appeared before the audience, he managed to enthrall them with his anecdotes about his uncle and his days in high school as a clarinet player and varsity wrestler, two roles which many would consider polar opposites.
Rise as a Stand-Up Comedian and Cross Country Performer
Warren has had a very interesting life, and he uses that as an inspiration for his shows. Be it plodding through high school as an awkward teenager forced to wear ridiculous clothes by his mom to take clarinet lessons or being urged by his wrestler coach father to become a wrestler himself, Warren often draws upon anecdotes from his life.
His journey began when he won a comedy contest while still a student at Mizzou and was asked to perform at a local club. He went on to pitch for Pringles and Jif for Proctor and Gamble, and there has been no looking back since then.
Warren is also known for blending music with humor. He had appeared on television, and "Comedy Stage" on Country Music Television garnered many positive reviews. He was also received by Wanda Sykes on the "Premium Band" on Comedy Central and featured on the "Bob and Tom" show on the radio.
In fact, he had a very successful tour of the "Friends of Bob and Tom Comedy Tour." His show "Flute Man" received multiple requests. He also received an invitation to perform in Just for Laughs in Montreal and began the cross-country tours that made him famous almost overnight.
Greg Warren's performances are light and breezy and just what you need to wave your stress goodbye. His club performances keep the crowd engaged, and he is a complete joy to witness. If you haven't seen him perform, you should do so now.
