Aries Spears
New Jersey native Aries Spears writes, acts, and performs stand-up comedy. Spears frequently appeared on Fox's MADtv as a cast member. After Michael McDonald, he was the show's second longest-serving cast member, having appeared in 198 episodes.
Aries Spears is a well-known actor. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 3, 1975. In 1989, when he was just 14, Aries Spears started working as an actor. Soon, he became more successful at his job in a short amount of time. Because of his job, he could influence people and gain fame. A few years later, his career came full circle. Aries Spears became well-known for his performances in the United States and other countries.
Early Life
A year or two into his young life, Spears and his family relocated to the Big Apple. His mom, jazz singer Doris Spears, is his inspiration. When Spears was 11, his family moved to New Jersey, where he went to Arthur M. Judd Elementary School. At 14, he started doing stand-up comedy in New York City comedy clubs. He was kicked out of North Brunswick Township High School when he was 17 because he got into fights. Spears started doing his comedy act around his hometown.
Spears said that he made impressions at the Uptown Comedy Club in Harlem during his first stand-up comedy show. He said that he remembers making impressions of James Brown and Jack Nicholson.
Career
Russell Simmons's Def Comedy Jam was Spears's first TV appearance. It's Showtime at the Apollo was her second (1987). In 1992, he went to Los Angeles. When he shifted to the Los Angeles area in 1992, he did so from New York. In 1993, he became a regular at "The Comedy Store," "The Laugh Factory," and "The Improv," in addition to having a recurrent part on "A Different World." Other shows he has appeared in besides "The Soul Train" include Crosstown Traffic and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (1993).
Spears got a part in the movie Malcolm X when he was 16 years old. Soon after, he was cast as the lead opposite Glenn Frey in the film South of Sunset (1993).
Spears has signed a deal with Fab Vision Network to host his new show "The Underground," which will be filmed in Columbus, Ohio. The show was supposed to air for the first time in September 2010.
