Cincinnati Bengals Games

The “Cincinnati Bengals” is a professional American Football team situated in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team is part of the North Division, which plays in the American Football Conference (AFC) of the National Football League (NFL). The team’s main opponents are the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.

In 1996, the team was founded as members of the American Football Conference (AFC) under the coaching of Paul Brown (former head coach of the Cleveland Browns). The Bengals play their home scheduled games at the Paul Brown Stadium, located in the downtown suburb of Cincinnati. You can purchase Bengals tickets on our website.

Since the year of the team’s inauguration, Paul Brown has acted as their head coach after being fired by the Cleveland Browns’ team owner Art Modell on January 1963. In three years, Brown had shown the urge to pursue his interest in building another NFL team in Ohio, where he eyed both the Columbus and the Cincinnati.

A deal between the Hamilton County and the Major League’s Baseball Cincinnati has resulted in an agreement on building a multi-purpose Stadium which could carry both the football and baseball games. At the time, there was a coming merger of the NFL and AFL, which was dated for the 1970 season. Brown has considered it as an opportunity to join the AFL being the league’s 10th and final franchise.

The previous AFL teams, including the Bengals and Cincinnati were assigned to the league following the NFL-AFL merger. Paul Brown died in the year 1991, after his death, his son Mike Brown took the lead. Mike Brown became the franchise’ major owner after he had purchased the shares of Austin Knowlton, who was the franchise’ co-founder.

The team has experienced struggles during the 1990s and 2000s. In fact, the frequent draft picks and several shifting of head coaches didn’t work out well. In the history of American professional sports, Mike Brown was held as part of the worst team owners in the line. You can view the Bengals schedule for the upcoming season below.
