Moses Pendleton is the founder of MOMIX. Additionally, he is the company's artistic director. Moses has 50+ years of experience in innovative choreography and has worked with a range of people from different industries like ballet, opera, TV, and films.

Moses is also the co-founder of Pilobolus Dance Theater (1971). He established MOMIX in 1980 and has one of the finest dance troupes in the US.

Cynthia Quinn is the associate director of MOMIX. She joined the company in 1983 and has been with the team ever since.

She belongs to southern California and has been an Associate of Dance at the University of California at Riverside for five years after graduation. Cynthia became an associate director in 1985, two years after entering the company.

MOMIX has presented many works, including adaptations of classics like Alice in Wonderland. Titled Alice, the performance was choreographed by Moses Pendleton.

The dance doesn't deal with the entire book. Instead, it uses the themes of absurdity and rich visual imagery to create a mesmerizing show with lights, costumes, and unique dance moves.

Similarly, Alchemia is inspired by Alchemical literature: Yeats and Jung to create a magical world. The dance moves are inspired by the 'elements' and how dreams are a combination of magic and mystery.

The show focuses on the World of the Unconscious, where lines blur between reality and dreams. This 90-minute dance show is a treat for audiences who love a good dose of ethereal magic blended with the beauty of ancient art and dance forms.
