For 20 years, the team played at the Metropolitan Stadium in the home of Bloomington. In the year 1961 until 1965, the Vikings had their summer training camp at the Bemidji State University. The team moved their training camp at the Minnesota State University (team’s current training camp), located in Mankato.
For 31 years, the Vikings played their home games at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis. The team left the Humprhey Metrodome after their last game on December 29, 2013. At the time, the team won against the Detroit Lions with a record of 14-13.
The Minnesota Vikings had compiled one of the highest winning percentage in the league’s history since 1961.
