Las Vegas Raiders (formerly Oakland Raiders) Games

The “Las Vegas Raiders” is a professional American Football team situated in Las Vegas, Nevada. The team is part of the West Division, which plays in the American Football Conference (AFC) of the National Football League (NFL). In the year 1960, the team was established under the American Football League (AFL). At the time of the AFL-NFL merger in the year 1970, the team officially joined the National Football League (NFL).

In decades of playing in the league, the Raiders have been consistent in their success. In fact, the team had considerable victories in 54 seasons (equivalent to 54 years).

The team compiled a regular season record of 434-375-11 in the 2014 season with a 25-18 playoff record. However, like almost all of the NFL teams, the team had experienced struggles in both off and on the football field during their first three seasons in the years 1960, 1961 and 1962.

In the year 1963, the team showed progress under the team’s head coach Al Davis (owner/general manager of the Raiders). For the first time, the team advanced in the postseason. At the time, they had achieved their first and only AFL title against the Houston Oilers. The Raiders advanced in the Super Bowl II championship game, but lost against the Green Bay Packers.

In the early 1970s and 1980s, their NFL career was a growing victory. They were able to achieve total of six division titles and appeared in the AFC championship games six times. The team also won two Super Bowls championship games in the year 1976 and 1980 (Super Bowl XI and Super Bowl XV).

After winning two Super Bowls, they moved to Los Angeles and the run of their success continued by winning another three Super Bowl Games in the years 1983, 1985 and 1990.

The team moved back to Oakland in 1995. However, the team lost one Super Bowl in 2002. After that loss, the team struggled in the following years. The Raiders were not able to advance in the playoffs despite the tad progress they showed in the seasons 2010 and 2011.
