Before she became Carole King, the chart-topping music legend, she was just an ordinary girl with some extraordinary talent. Beautiful narrates an inspiring true story of the remarkable rise of King to stardom, becoming a part of the song that hit the blockbusters with Gerry Goffin, her husband. It highlights her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil to become one of the most highly successful solo acts in popular music history.

The Plot

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical informs the real story of the King's amazing rise to stardom, winning the Tony and Grammy award from becoming a part of the hit team of songwriters and her husband, Gerry Goffin.

It mainly focuses on her relationship with fellow writers Cynthia Weil and Barry Man, who were her best friends, and becoming the most highly successful solo acts in prominent music history. Along the way, she made plenty of beautiful music and wrote the entire soundtrack for the generation.
