Jack Assadourian Jr.
Jack Assadourian Jr. is a Mexican-Armenian comedian who had to put in hard efforts to become an on-stage performer from an aspiring spectator. Over the past few years, he has also plunged into the writing and acting world. While riding up the ladder of success, he traveled across the country performing for the likes of Brandon T. Jackson, David Spade, Damon Wayans Jr, and Marlon Wayans.
Jack appeared on the shows such as Amazon’s “Laugh After Dark,” “Make America Laugh Again,” and Epix “Sex Life.” Then, however, he made his way to NBC’s “Stand Up” in 2019. Today, he can be spotted making appearances in films like “50 Shades of Black”, popular podcasts like “Date Fails with Kate Quigley” and “The Church of What’s Happening Now with Joey Diaz,” besides headlining comedy clubs all over the country.
Rise As A Stand-up Comedian
Jack Assadourian Jr. was born and raised in a Mexican restaurant that eventually became a comedy club. So he inherited the gift of humor from his family business. But fascinatingly, this Glendale-based entertainer initially didn’t dream of pursuing a career in his family’s business. However, comedy chased him persistently along his career journey.
Jack initially worked as a bartender and a DJ in their spare time to support his family and pay the bills. However, he stepped into the comedy world after being encouraged by his father to cope with the effects of Jack’s divorce. He made his debut as a comedian in his family club, where he discovered his ability to deliver jokes. And credit goes to his upbringing in a family who is always laughing.
Jack has grown up seeing his parents laughing. However, his hard work paid him after nearly eight years of performing as a stand-up. Jack Assadourian Jr. is a comedian who walks into each stage to make the audience laugh, as it's worth more than the money it brings to him.
His comedy content is very relatable, usually spotlighting his own experiences he encountered while growing up with a cross-cultural Mexican and Armenian heritage. He extracts humor from the facts that were once a struggle belonging to mix-culture. Jack continues to strive to take things to the next level, as he has people counting on him.
He is so passionate about comedy that he organized the famous “NoHo Comedy Festival” for the country’s comedy elites. Watch him live with family and enjoy his gut-busting comedy style.
