Marlon Wayans
Marlon Wayans is an American comedian, writer, and actor. Wayans started as an actor with minor roles in films and television but soon turned to comedy. He starred in comedy films like Scary Movie, Little Man, and Dance Flick. He is also known for producing several successful TV shows with his brother.
Wayans loved comedy and yet wanted to break away from the stereotype. He had a significant role to play in the critically acclaimed drama film Requiem for a Dream by Darren Aronofsky. He also appeared in films like Norbit, A Haunted House, and its sequel, and On the Rocks, among others.
Rise as a Comedian and Actor
Wayans was interested in acting from an early age and went to a music and performing institute in New York. He started working on television with his sibling and appeared in sitcoms like The Wayans Bros. He also became interested in production around this time and produced the two films of the Scary Movies series. He also had cartoon films for Nickelodeon.
Wayans also has his sitcom on NBC named Marlon, available on Netflix. He also partnered with Shots Studios to launch his YouTube channel and signed a deal with HBO Max.
