Rise as a Drag Queen and Comedian

Monet X Change was attracted to the arts from quite a young age, and she trained in the opera with the Westminster Choir College under Rider University. She was later drawn to humor and drag and started experimenting with her looks. Later, she also started co-hosting the podcast Sibling Rivalry alongside Bob, the Drag Queen. She was also a part of the Ebony and Irony podcast.

Monet X Change participated in the sixth annual Gay Caribbean USA Pageant and won it too. She became a part of the Davenport drag family. She started performing extensively with Honey Davenport, her drag mother, and Bob, the Drag Queen, her drag sister. They combine humor and wit with their eclectic performances, and the audience simply loves them for it.

Monet X Change was also a part of "What Would You Do" and went on several international tours, most notably in Europe. Her one-woman show, "Call Me by Monet," was a huge success. She also hosted the WOWPresents series “Monet’s Herstory X Change.” She was also invited for an interview on The View, along with Adore Delano and Nina West.

Monet X Change became the first black drag queen in the Hall of Fame. She was also one of the 37 queens who were on the cover of New York Magazine for their special issue. She was also the inspiration behind the creation of Shade, the first drag queen superhero from the world of Marvel. She had also released several albums, most of them becoming chartbusters.
