Christina Pazsitzky, popularly known as Christina P, is a Canadian-American stand-up comedian. She is also a prominent TV personality, host, and writer and has a very successful podcast to her credit. Along with her husband, Tom Segura, a well-known comedian himself, she hosts the podcasts “Your Mom's House” and “Where My Moms At?”
Christina P was born in Ontario in Canada, but her parents hail from Hungary in Europe, from where they had to escape. The family moved to the US, and her family settled in Southern California. Her stand-up comedies often have incidents from her childhood, and she talks about her life with her trademark wit.
Stand-Up Comedy and Other Achievements
Christina P became a well-known face when she starred in the MTV show Road Rules: Down Under. Later, she was included as one of the members of the "Deathsquad Network," a group of promising stand-up comedians. At this point, she started touring the world and had numerous performances in Africa, South Korea, and the Middle East as part of her USO tours.
Christina P's podcast “Your Mom's House” received six nominations in the Best Comedy section in the Stitcher Awards. Later, she and her husband had a deal with CBS for a TV show titled The Little Things.
Christina P has struck a chord with young women, and especially new mothers, since she started hosting her podcast "Where My Moms At?" which deals with real problems humorously surrounding motherhood. She also often invites celebrities to the show, and well-known personalities like Hila Klein, Alison Rosen, and Alyssa Milano have been a part of her show.
In addition, Christina P. has several comedy specials to her credit. Her hour-long comedy specials have garnered rave reviews from the audience and critics alike. Some of her prominent one-hour stand-up albums are "It's Hard Being a Person" and "Man of the Year."
