The Story

Eisenheim was a magician who performed in Vienna in the early 20th century. His show included both simple tricks and the illusion that he could bring the dead back to life. Duchess Sophie von Teschen, however, has captured his heart for quite some time. This puts him in a dangerous situation with the violent and dishonest Crown Prince Leopold, who jumps at the chance to have the magician arrested on charges of necromancy.

We've heard that Yu Ho-Jin, also known as "the Manipulator," was named magician of the year by the Academy of Magical Arts. Mr. Yu stands over a simple table, his face a mask of smooth confidence. With a flick of his wrist, he turns his white scarf into a deck of playing cards, which he uses with fantastic skill. In a mesmerizing new take on an old trick, the cards change color, become blank, and appear and disappear.

Dan Sperry, the Anti-Conjuror, wears Marilyn Manson ghoul makeup and several body piercings to parody Criss Angel's portrayal of the magician as a hipster sorcerer. He does something disgusting with the dental floss, which seems to get stuck in his neck. He also twists the classic trick where a magician moves real birds around.
