About the Musical
It is the story of Tony Valdovinos, who fights for his identity and encounters the pre-conceived philosophies of Americans. It showcases the powerful American Dream.
Tony’s Americano is unlike the amalgamation of traditional music styles of the country, folk, jazz, bluegrass, and rock and roll. It presents an issue of various residents in America who live as immigrants. Their want to get themselves documented is heart-wrenching.
Plot - The True Life-Story
Being inspired by the heart-wrenching events of 9/11 in sixth grade, Tony was determined to serve the Marines in the military. But after his 18th birthday, as he tried to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corp., he discovered the truth that he was an unregistered migrant.
He was disheartened, but then he began with a new mission. This time it was a much bigger and greater goal to inspire good and create better things.
His life, difficulties, and perseverance are all shown in the play with fresh American melodies.
